Shannon Noormand is the owner, operator and creator of Crushcakes Cupcakery & Crushcafe. Food is her greatest passion and has been for as long as she can remember! Shannon was born and raised in the restaurant business, the kitchen doubling as her play yard, the long bar counter and cushy chairs her living room. Shannon learned how to cut a whole chicken before she was 10, cooking up meals for her family of homemade soups, pastas, roasted meats and more! She loved toning her baking talents using her mother’s Kitchen Aide mixer, so long in the family, it delivered a shock every time she screwed in the metal bowl! Speaking aloud to her make believe audience, describing her every step, Shannon perfected her homemade chocolate chip cookies by the time she was 12. Her father still requests them to this day!

Now Shannon speaks aloud to a real audience, her amazing customers and staff! She loves sharing her passion for food in her scratch made delights, baked goods, soups, salads and sandwiches every day. And she tells it all with her favorite pastime, the crushblog.
